Organizational Secretary of Sylhet City Jubo League, Dinar, Arrested

Desk News: The police from Borlekha Police Station have arrested M.H. Ilyas Dinar (41), the organizational secretary of Sylhet City Jubo League.

Dinar was detained in the early hours of Friday (September 27) at around 2 a.m. from his in-law’s house in Kashmonagar area under Dakshinbhag Union, Borlekha Upazila. He is the son of the late Nasirul Haque Chowdhury from the Moglabazar area of Sylhet.

Sources reveal that M.H. Ilyas Dinar, the organizational secretary of Sylhet City Jubo League, was staying at his in-law’s house in Kashmonagar. Around 2 a.m. on Friday (September 27), locals apprehended him and informed the police. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived, took him into custody, and brought him to the police station. It is reported that Dinar has multiple cases filed against him in various police stations in Sylhet.

Borlekha Police Station Duty Officer, SI Binoy Roy, confirmed via phone at 7 a.m. on Saturday that M.H. Ilyas Dinar had been arrested.
