Desk News: The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) successfully arrested former Member of Parliament (MP) Dr. Jannat Ara Henry and her husband, Labu Talukdar, on Monday afternoon in the Sonapur area of Moulvibazar city.

Dr. Jannat Ara Henry, who previously represented the Sirajganj-2 constituency, and her husband, the former chairman of the Sirajganj District Council, were taken into custody from the residence of Delwar Hossain Bachchu. Authorities reported that the couple had been in hiding at the location for an extended period prior to their arrest.

RAB-9’s Media Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Md. Moshihur Rahman Sohel, confirmed the operation in an official statement. According to Sohel, the arrests were executed after confirming that the duo had been living clandestinely to evade law enforcement.
