A SpongeBob SquarePants pop-up is bringing Bikini Bottom to Los Angeles and San Diego with a collaboration with Popsicle to celebrate the upcoming release of “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants” in theatres on Dec. 19.

The pop-up will bring SpongeBob’s big-screen journey to life with an interactive Ice Pop truck hunt, immersive screening events, and a nationwide sweepstakes. From Dec. 1–20, fans can enter by visiting popsicle.com for a chance to winan exclusive SpongeBob Popsicle Ice Pop-themed Treasure Trove or a private movie screening in January with family and friends. Fifty winners will receive SpongeBob prize packs featuring a SpongeBob Popsicle Ice Pop popcorn bucket, props, stickers, The SpongeBob Popsicle Ice Pop Sundae recipe card, and a coupon for a free box of SpongeBob Popsicle Ice Pops.

As part of the competition, fans can hunt for the SpongeBob Popsicle Ice Pop truck in Los Angeles and San Diego. The truck offers free SpongeBob Popsicle Ice Pops, opportunities for photos, and chances to win tickets toexclusive screening events. Fans can also follow Popsicle on Instagram and TikTok to crack cryptic location clues tospot the truck in their city.

The SpongeBob Popsicle Ice Pop truck is scheduled to appear at Westfield UTC, located at 4545 La Jolla Village Dr., Ste. E-25, San Diego, and at Santa Monica Place, located at 395 Santa Monica Pl., Santa Monica, from noon to 8 p.m.

In “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants,” SpongeBob’s latest adventure follows his journey as he seeks to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs by following a mysterious swashbuckling ghost pirate, The Flying Dutchman, on a seafaring comedy-adventure that takes him to the deepest depths of the deep sea, where no Sponge has gone before. SpongeBob fans can expect to see supporting characters like his best friend Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks and the grumpy Squidward Tentacles.
