The Daily News boys basketball Top 15 rankings for November 25, 2025:
1. Sierra Canyon (2-0): Brandon McCoy dazzled in his debut with 25 points and 10 rebounds in a win over JSerra. He had nine dunks in the game at Pauley Pavilion.
2. Notre Dame (2-1): The Knights’ only loss came to top-ranked Santa Margarita.
3. Harvard-Westlake (1-1): Wolverines beat San Gabriel Academy at the buzzer and lost by two to St. John Bosco. Big games coming up against Long Beach Millikan and Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas.
4. Crespi (2-0): The Celts looked good in a big win over Mater Dei. Isaiah and Carter Barnes are making strides toward being high-end college prospects.
5. Village Christian (3-0): Guard Will Conroy is the best freshman in the area.
6. St. Francis (2-2): 7-foot-3 Cherif Millogo is a stat-stuffing machine, but it doesn’t make the Golden Knights unbeatable.
7. Legacy Christian (1-1): Wing Xzavier Miller is an NCAA Division I prospect at 6-foot-6.
9. Thousand Oaks (1-0): The Lancers played just one game against Ventura last week, and won 92-53.
10. Cleveland (0-1): The Cavs’ only game was against a surging Crespi, but rest assured, Cleveland will be a City Section title contender.
11. Alemany (2-0): The Warriors cruise to their first two wins over Chatsworth and Blair, but don’t expect them to rise much with the easy slate they have scheduled.
12. Valencia (3-0): The Vikings entered the fold after a 3-0 start, including a win over Heritage Christian. Junior Stephen Irons is averaging 15.7 points and 12 rebounds per game.
13. Saugus (0-0): The Centurions play their season opener this week.
14. Knight (1-0): The Hawks beat Vasquez 81-48 to start the season, but will have a big test against Windward in this week’s Chaminade tournament.
15. Birmingham (0-0): Patriots start things this week.
